COLLEGE OF Commerce

College of Commerce Undergraduate Program

Welcome

DePaul University is ranked one of the country’s 10 best academic institutions for entrepreneurship education, according to the October 2009 issue of Entrepreneur magazine and The Princeton Review. DePaul ranked eighth in undergraduate entrepreneurship programs and ninth in the graduate program category.

For nearly a century, the college has been committed to an urban and a metropolitan identification and to the recognition that its past, present, and future are linked inexricably to the stability and vitality of the city of Chicago.  For students in the College of Commerce, this means studying and working in Chicago, one of the most dynamic business and financial centers in the world.  For graduates of the College of Commerce, this means abundant career choices and opportunities.  DePaul develops business leaders.

Thanks to the generous gift of the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, the New School of Hospitality Leadership has launched within the College of Commerce. The University received its second largest private donation ever with this $7.5 million gift. DePaul now offers a bachelor’s degree in hospitality leadership as of fall 2009; ongoing fundraising will support other related degrees and programs in the future.
