Constantine "Gus" Economos Distinguished Graduate Teaching Award
In 1979 DePaul University's Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, together with the Office of Alumni Relations, instituted the Constantine L. Economos Distinguished Graduate Teaching Award. This award is presented to the professor receiving the most graduate student votes for excellence in teaching, at the June commencement ceremony.

The award honors the late Constantine "Gus" Economos, who was an integral part of DePaul University Kellstadt Graduate School of Business for more than thirty years. He earned his undergraduate degree from the college in 1952 and his MBA in 1953. From 1956 through 1980, Professor Economos taught Marketing in the college on both the graduate and undergraduate levels and served as Director of the Kellstadt School of Business from 1972-1978. Professor Economos was renowned for his spirited lectures in Marketing and his commitment to classroom excellence.
